REPORT
POSITION
1st Grade vs Carlingford

Us 143

Them 122

Lost the toss, sent in, average start with the bat losing easy wickets. Coppa batted will with debutants PK and Nick Miller, and did well to post 143. Dunc Wilson picked up 2 early wickets together with a very complete Bowling / Fielding. Carlo were under pressure all the way. D Arnott chipped in with well deserved 5/28. Rolled Carlo with 1 over to spare by 21 runs.

5th
2nd Grade vs Meadowbank

Them 4/256

Us 9/161

Not a good bowling performance allowed them to put on 4/256. Our batting was not up to the challenge. Kenny T batted well for 46 but not much support from anyone else. Thanks to Vikram for coming up and playing with us from 5th Grade.

4th
4th Grade vs Epping YMCA Red

Them 10/120

Us 10/138

Got off to a slow start with the bat but a solid innings from Ali (64) got us to a total that we could defend. Started well with the ball having them 2 down in the first 6 overs, but a slice of luck saw them only 4/66 at drinks. A big effort was required and the boys supplied it, taking the last 6 wickets for 54 and a great win.

7th
5th Grade Red vs North Ryde RSL

Us 4/154

Them 10/152

Lost the toss and fielded first, Bennie in the 1st game as Captain for the team took 3/12. Nigel took 3/88 and Daniel bowled well 2/4 including taking the wicket of their skipper. Phil (47) & Brendan (25) got us off to a solid start & Bennie (31x) & Micheal (16x) saw us home .Well done boys on a important win!

3rd
5th Grade Blue vs Carlingford

Us 10/86

Them 7/176

We lost the toss and were sent in to field, leaked too many runs and didn't take the chances when offered. Highlight was Jeremey taking his maiden Hat Trick for the Club. We batted abysmally, silly run outs and 3 ducks did not help the cause. Honourable mention to Michael Greaves shouldering arms to get bowled on middle stump. Kind of sums up our batting performance today with one exception. Stand out batting from Christiaan with his first knock back with the Vikings to top score with 36.

1st
Good Luck to all teams in season 2010 (even those playing for other clubs)

3 x 1st Innings Wins, 2 x 1st Innings Losses to the Vikings is the result for Round 12.
